We have just completed the second lecture of the Right Whale Talk Series on March 14. First up was Scott Landry from the Center for Coastal Studies on disentanglements - his talk was amazing. Second up was Mark Baumgartner kept the bar high. The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History talks have been extremely well attended (45+ people on the first night and more than 50 last night). The Boston venue, Urban Harbors Institute at University of Massachusetts, has not been as full each Monday but they’ve promised to increase notices from now on so we’re hopeful that things will pick up with the Boston nights.
WDCS and Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary have been working on developing activities to correspond to the lecture and the goal is to have them posted, along with a brief summary of each talk, on the website.
